Valon Splitometer wants to create a device that would monitor the usage of electricity in a single room as against the present system that monitors for the entire house. It is a low-cost plug and play solution for people who stay in a shared accommodation and wants to split the electricity bill in accordance to their actual usage. The solution, so proposed, would have a device that would measure the actual consumption of electricity and a mobile app which would have a user interface. The communication between the device and the app will be using IoT technology.

R-Beat wants to create a wearable technology product. In a wearable Ring form factor, they have integrated sensors that monitor pulse rate and temperature. This information is sent to a server via IoT technology to be accessed by a mobile app. Initially conceptualized as a lifestyle product, this ring is designed to increase the intimacy between couples. The product can be designed to have the functionality of fitness band (like Fitbit) with the aesthetics of a jewellery.

The team Matrix has conceptualized a unique product that aims at reducing accidents in motorcycle and scooters. Through the use of sensors, the device would be able to sense vehicles in the vicinity and cautions the rider about it while taking turns or otherwise. Integrated with Google Maps, the device would also be able to show directions by visual indications.

A plug and play device, the product has a market in supplying to OEMs and also as an aftermarket add-on to 2-wheelers.

Sync has come out with a very innovative product where they are using Augmented Reality to maintain and sync with plants in the garden space. They are using sensors to get information on the moisture level in the garden and using IoT to sync the information to a server from where one would be able to access the information through a specially built mobile application.

The solution has a huge potential if it is scaled up to cater to agricultural fields. After piloting their product in an interior garden, they plan to develop a solution for agriculture using similar technologies.
