KIIF Incubates Companies By Providing Workspaces, Cutting Edge Labs, As Well As Domain Expert Mentors To Enter The Business World & Help Entrepreneurs Find Success

Karnavati Innovation and Incubation Foundation (KIIF) is a design business incubator that works on an amalgamation of design, technology and business principles. Located within the campus of Karnavati University, it has been formed to help start-ups and entrepreneurs in their journey towards becoming successful businesses. Through its hallmark business assistance services, it would render much needed support to companies sprouting their way into the business world.

The incubated companies will have access to corporate like workspaces, domain expert mentors and cutting-edge labs to take their idea to emerge out into a successful and profitable business venture.

To nurture innovations by creating an ecosystem that would foster the entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth and contribute towards making India an innovative and creative nation.

To create an inclusive environment for potential entrepreneurs and graduating students so as to translate knowledge and innovation into creation of successful enterprises contributing in nation’s growth.

Objectives

  • Nurture young firms or start-ups helping them during the critical start-up period when they are most vulnerable
  • Provide hands-on management assistance, access to financing and well-designed exposure to critical business or technical support services
  • Offer entrepreneurial firms or start-ups shared offices, shared services and access to labs and equipment under one roof
  • To put the incubated companies at the forefront in developing new and innovative technologies and help them create products and services that improve the quality of lives around the world.
  • Create synergy through operative policy mechanism and support system for transformation of good ideas such as product, process and service innovation into a scalable model so as to establish small, medium and large industries
  • Establish a system to support protection of intellectual property rights at national and global level
  • To promote IPR filling and commercialisation of IP.

Vice Chancellor’s Message

This is good to see initiative of setting up an advance level incubator at ‘E-Cell’ of ‘Karnavati University’. The entrepreneurial journey is not a sprint but a marathon type of run, wherein final destination is important but journey, itself is fulfilling and rewarding because connect within entrepreneurial eco-system is a life-long bonding, life-changing learning and life-caring living. This is the best time for India as start- up culture seems to be maturing with policy makers as well as investor community coming forward to give that extra push to budding entrepreneurs who are working in more than 360 incubators, across Nation. At present, India is third in the list of countries having the most unicorns, trailing the U.S. (396) and China (277), but ahead of UK (32) and Germany (18) but with youth of our Nation taking up challenges, thrown at them by industries, it is not far that India gets top slot in landscape of entrepreneurship. Hon’ble Prime Minister, himself, is encouraging ‘Start-Up’ culture followed by Innovation policy aimed at helping innovators and students. Due to health crisis, many of start-ups have come forward to provide solution to array of problems at cost effective level and that fulfils need of society. I do wish that ‘Karnavati Innovation Incubation Foundation’ (KIIF) becomes favourite place for those who seek to be what they wish to be…… Entrepreneurs, job creators and value oriented.
