Defence Design & Technology Incubator of India (DDTII)
Defence Design & Technology Incubator of India (DDTII) is a design-centric technology incubator to support and promote start-ups focused on products and services for defence applications. It provides an enabling environment for technology, business, and entrepreneurship for start-ups exploring the Aerospace and Defence sector.
The incubator supports both Green-Field and Brown-Field start-ups. It is promoted under the Defence Design & Technology Incubator of India Foundation, a not-for-profit Company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. DDTII is located within the green campus of Karnavati University in Uvarsad, Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad twin city.
- To become a leading defence design and technology start-up Incubator in the country and support the Make-in-India and Atmanirbhar Bharat vision for the Aerospace and Defence Sector
- To provide a platform for startups to connect with the end customer – The armed forces
- To provide access to funding and support infrastructure to nurture ideas
- To provide mentorship from engineering a solution to designing a product
- To provide mentorship in developing a systematic approach to creating a start-up from ideation to execution
